At Harbour.Space University, we celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit that drives our students to achieve incredible milestones. This year, our very own Deniz, a Bachelor’s student in High-Tech Entrepreneurship at our Bangkok campus, proudly represented Harbour.Space at the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), a prestigious international competition organized by the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO).
The Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) is a global platform that celebrates and supports student entrepreneurs who manage their own businesses while pursuing their studies. Organized by the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), the competition aims to empower student innovators by providing them with mentorship, networking opportunities, and a stage to showcase their ventures. The GSEA journey begins at the local level, where students compete regionally and nationally, culminating in the Global Finals. Winners receive not only cash prizes but also global recognition and invaluable opportunities to connect with leading entrepreneurs worldwide.
Founded in 1987, the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is a global non-profit network dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs’ growth, innovation, and leadership. With initiatives such as GSEA and the EO Accelerator program, EO fosters collaboration and mentorship among members, encouraging both personal and professional development. Its mission is to nurture entrepreneurial talent and contribute to broader economic development and innovation.
Deniz’s entrepreneurial journey began with SoundPool, a Web3 music platform that aimed to revolutionize the way artists and audiences interact with digital music. This early experience laid the foundation for his future ventures, including his latest brand, COPPLINN—a luxury consumer audio ecosystem brand that reimagines sound as an emotional art form. Based in Bangkok, he participated in the GSEA Thailand branch as a solo competitor, determined to showcase COPPLINN’s vision on a prestigious platform.
The competition kicked off on December 15, 2024, with 20 teams vying for the top spot. Through rigorous elimination rounds, the competition narrowed to just eight finalists. Each finalist was paired with a mentor for personalized guidance and grooming sessions. Deniz had the privilege of working with Mr. Kulthep Narula, the EO Thailand President, whose insights and mentorship were instrumental in refining Deniz’s approach.
The final round, held on January 18, 2025, was a culmination of hard work, innovation, and entrepreneurial passion. Although Deniz concluded his journey as a finalist, he gained invaluable insights, guidance, and connections that will undoubtedly propel him forward in his entrepreneurial endeavors. Reflecting on his experience, Deniz expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to share COPPLINN’s vision and the growth he experienced throughout the competition.
Deniz’s participation in GSEA exemplifies the core values of Harbour.Space University: innovation, resilience, and a commitment to pushing boundaries. His journey with COPPLINN is just beginning, and we are excited to see the impact he will create in the luxury audio industry.
At Harbour.Space, we are proud to provide a supportive ecosystem for aspiring entrepreneurs like Deniz, offering programs that merge cutting-edge education with real-world opportunities. The GSEA is just one example of how our students are making their mark on the global stage.
