Education
On Friday, 13 March 2026, Harbour.Space Co-founder and CEO Svetlana addressed the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT) at its first General Meeting of 2026, presenting our vision for the future of higher education to an audience of over 150 of Thailand’s most respected international school leaders. The gathering took place at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Bangkok, and brought together heads of school and senior education leaders from across the country to discuss strategic priorities and the evolving landscape of education in Thailand and beyond.

Why This Conversation Matters
The transition from secondary school to university is one of the most consequential decisions a young person will make. Too often, it is shaped by tradition rather than by what the modern world actually demands of graduates.
At Harbour.Space, we have built our university around a different premise: that education should be led by real-world practitioners, delivered in intensive formats, and made accessible to students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to access world-class learning. Svetlana reflected on the moments that shaped her path and ultimately led her to challenge conventional education. She spoke about how those experiences inspired the creation of Harbour.Space, an education model more closely aligned with real world demands.

In Conversation with Thailand’s Leading School Heads
We were honoured that Svetlana was invited to take the floor at such a significant gathering. The ISAT General Meeting assembled some of the most influential figures in international education in Thailand, and the opportunity to present directly to this community represented a meaningful step in our commitment to shaping the broader education conversation in the region.
Among those in attendance were:
Mrs. Usa Somboon, School Director and Manager, International School Bangkok
Dr. James Dalziel, Head of School, NIST International School
Mr. Chris Sammons, Head of School, Bangkok Patana School
Mr. Paul Steven Schofield, Head of School, St. Andrews International School Bangkok
These conversations opened a meaningful dialogue on what universities like Harbour.Space can offer students as they move from secondary education into a workforce that is changing faster than traditional institutions have been able to keep up with.
Building Bridges Between Education Sectors
Events like the ISAT General Meeting are important not only for the relationships they foster, but for the shared thinking they make possible. When school leaders and universities sit in the same room, the students they serve are better for it.
We are grateful to ISAT for the invitation, and for creating a platform where institutions across different levels of education can exchange perspectives and explore what genuine collaboration looks like in service of students.
We look forward to continuing these conversations, and to welcoming more students from Thailand’s international school community to Harbour.Space.
