Pook, a talented individual from Krung Thai Bank (KTB), embarked on a transformative journey to Harbour.Space@UTCC, a renowned institution for innovation and technology.
“I was drawn to Harbour.Space@UTCC because it offered a unique blend of academic rigor and practical application,” says Pook, a former KTB employee who pursued a Master’s degree in Fintech. “The opportunity to work on real-world projects with industry experts was truly invaluable.”
With the support of KTB’s scholarship, she pursued a Master’s degree in Fintech. She immersed herself in Harbour.Space@UTCC’s dynamic learning environment, collaborating with talented peers from diverse cultural backgrounds. “The international exposure was incredible,” she recalls. “It broadened my perspective and helped me develop a global mindset.”
One of the highlights of her experience was the opportunity to work on real-world projects. “We tackled real business problems, from developing innovative financial solutions to improving customer experiences,” she explains. “This hands-on approach solidified my understanding of the industry and prepared me for future challenges.”
Returning to KTB, Pook applied her newfound knowledge and skills to drive digital transformation. She spearheaded initiatives like the credit card and OCR solutions, which significantly improved efficiency and customer satisfaction. “Harbour.Space@UTCC equipped me with the tools and mindset to identify pain points and develop innovative solutions,” she says.
Beyond technical skills, Pook also gained valuable soft skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. These skills have been instrumental in her career advancement and leadership roles at KTB.
